The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a beautiful cat named Moose. He is a 15 pound gray and white, Main Coon who is about 10 years old. Moose ended up at Animal Allies after his former home could no longer care for him. Like most cats Moose is very shy at first but once he gets some time to get to know you he is very sweet and affectionate.

For many of the animals that end up at Animal Allies it can be quite a traumatic transition for them to go from a single home to a place where they are surrounded by lots of other animals and activities. Many hours are devoted to each and every animal to try and keep them company and to play with them, but of course the ideal setting would be a new loving home.
