The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week Is A Sassy Cat Named Kimby
The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week Is a 10 pound black and white domestic cat who is four years old. She ended up at the shelter because her former owners could no longer care for her. When she first arrived at the shelter Kimby was described as a sour patch kid first being sweet and then being a little sour by hissing at staff and volunteers.
She might initially hiss at you when approached but once you reach your hand out to you and she realizes you are a friend not a foe she will rub up against your hand for pets. Often times especially when an animal is first brought to the shelter they are very scared and not familiar with the staff and volunteers so they may exhibit these types of behaviors. Kimby would be better suited to live in a home without any other animals or kids so she can get all the attention.
Animal Allies is still following pandemic protocols so the are not open to the public, but if you are interested in adopting Kimby or would like some more information please call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 or go to there website for more information!
