During the Pandemic tons of dogs and cats were adopted into loving homes and thankfully most of them are still in those homes. Now that the pandemic is waning, not over by any means but we are able to go more places and do things again let's keep this pace going shall we?

The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a super cute young cat named Pit. She is a 12 pound, white and brown, Domestic Shorthair who is about 2 years old. Pit found herself at Animal Allies after her former home could no longer take care of her. She is very sweet and cuddly but prefers to be the only animal in the house so she can get all the attention herself. Her favorite thing to do is to find a nice spot where she can look out the window and see all that is going on outside.

Pit has been spayed, micro-chipped, vet checked and is updated on all her shots. Animal Allies is not open to the public to come and see the animals, you need to set up an appointment with the adoption counselors to see a particular animal be it a cat or dog. If you would like to see what animals are up for adoption or would like more information about certain animals please check out the Animal Allies website.

If you are interested in adopting Pit, please call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! The adoption staff is available by phone starting right at 10:30 to 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday, and 10:30 to 4:00 PM Sunday. The adoption process is first come first serve so whoever reaches our staff first will have the opportunity to place a hold. Animal Allies is located at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth. Tune in to the Morning Show with Jeanne and Cooper every Wednesday at 8:15 am as we visit with Daryl from Animal Allies to talk in detail about The Pet Of The Week.
