Theater shows are returning to the stage across the state, that includes here in Duluth with a production of 'Annie' at The Duluth Playhouse.

The production is scheduled for November 20th - December 19th, and they are looking for a diverse cast from the ages 7 to adult. Auditions will be held in person at the NorShor Theatre on June 26th and 27th, they are also accepting video audition submissions.

They are casting roles playing Annie, the Orphans, Oliver Warbucks, GraceFarrell, and many more starring roles plus an ensemble cast. The Duluth Playhouse says it is "committed to inclusive, color-conscious casting. Actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, and abilities are highly encouraged to audition."

Saturday, June 26th auditions are being held for ages 14 to adult from 3 PM - 7 PM, anyone in this age group must reserve a 5-minute audition time here. They ask that you are ready to sing about 1-minute of a musical theater song in the style of the show, an accompanistis provided.

June 27th ages 7-13 are welcome to audition from 12:30 - 2 PM, sign-ups for audition can be made here. Be ready to sing a portion of 'Hard-Knock Life', and do some dancing in dance or tennis shoes.

They are also accepting video auditions for all age groups, just record your audition with the requirements listed above and upload to YouTube or a cloud drive like Dropbox. Send the link and the information required to auditions@duluthplayhouse.org no later than Saturday, June 26th at 9 PM.
