The March for Science is Scheduled for This Saturday “Earth Day”
Thirteen Minnesota Cities will be participating in The March for Science Rally Saturday April 22nd, including Duluth.
According to the Duluth Chapter the March is a celebration of science, not only scientists and politicians, but more of the role that science plays in our everyday lives.
I feel for many people there is a growing fear that many science programs and studies are being cut off, and this march helps the general public be more aware of how important science is in all aspects of our lives.
The March will start at 10:00 am on Saturday at Leif Erickson Park and end at The Maritime Museum around Noon. People are encouraged to bring garbage bags to help pick up any trash that is found on the way. So far over 200 people have pledged to march on Facebook, If you are interested or would like more information Click Here
