Justin Sutherland is a rising star in the restaurant scene in the Twin Cities and now has the chance to show off his culinary skills on a national level. Justin will be appearing on the show "Top Chef" on the Bravo network which takes place in Kentucky this season.

The 16th season of the show returns on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. Central. Sutherland will be competing against 14 other 'cheftestants' as they are called looking to win the top prize.

Justin has had some national exposure before, with an appearance on Iron Chef this past June, where he won the episode with the help of fellow Twin Cities chefs Brandon Randolph (Pearl & The Thief) and Donald Gonzalez (formerly of Gray Duck.)

Sutherland is the executive chef at Handsome Hog which is located in Lowertown St. Paul and also manages Pearl and The Thief an oyster and whiskey bar in Stillwater. I am sure Justin will do awesome and seems to have quite the support system from the restaurant and customers cheering him on! For more on this story Click Here
