Tycoons Alehouse To Be Replaced By A New Restaurant

Tycoons Alehouse in Downtown Duluth will be closing this fall and will be replaced by a new restaurant with an interesting name.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, The company that owns Fitgers (Just Take Action Inc.) plans to close Tycoons October 17 and open Blind Pig to the public October 22. The Blind Pig will offer  locally raised beef and pork, and will focus more on sandwiches.

Marketing manager for Just Take Action Inc., Marissa Saurer said "The Blind Pig is going to be a gastropub and alehouse, higher quality but more casual." I loved going to Tycoons as they had great meals for dinners. I'm very curious to see what the Blind Pig will bring to the table.
