UMD Football Team and Fans Rally Around Player Battling Cancer

Jordan Bauman of the UMD Football team was the recipient of a massive fundraiser this past weekend at the UMD Homecoming game against the Bemidji Beavers.

According to the UMD Football website, the Junior Defensive End learned this August that his cancer had returned. He is currently undergoing Chemotherapy for Stage II Hodgkins Lymphoma. Players, fans, and local businesses alike all banded together to help raise money with special rally towels and other proceeds going to the Jordan Bauman Benefit fund.
