The Dollar Tree in West Duluth is facing thousands of dollars in damage after the storeroom caught fire this past weekend.

A string of bad luck for the Dollar Tree as last month a robbery took place and now this month, a fire. The fire broke out in the storeroom Sunday afternoon. According to a local news source, nobody was hurt as the building was evacuated. However, the fire set off the sprinkler system costing over $95,000 due to heavy water damage.

The fire is currently investigating the cause. The Dollar Tree is located in the strip mall connected to the former Kmart. Discount Duluth which is also located in the strip has recently announced that they will be closing.
