Voted the best love song in a recent poll, Whitney Houston's cover of the Dolly Parton song, "I Will Always Love You" seemed like an obvious choice for a Valentine Feel Good Song of the Day.  Dolly recorded it first after writing the song in 1973 for her one-time partner and mentor, Porter Wagoner, from whom she was separating professionally at the time. Dolly later re-recorded the song in 1982, and it was included on the soundtrack of "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."  Dolly's original 1974 recording of the song also appeared in Martin Scorsese's film "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore."  But the most recognizable version of the song was recorded eighteen years later--in 1992--when Whitney recorded it for the soundtrack for her acting debut in the movie, "The Bodyguard."

When they shot the music video, Whitney was pregnant with her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and she is shown only sitting on the theater scenes.
