Wisconsin To Host ‘Summer of ’99 And Beyond’ Festival Headlined By Creed, Nickelback
One Wisconsin city is going to be the destination for lovers of post-grunge alternative rock music this summer as a music festival comes to the state.
The late-1990s/early-2000s rock band Creed is enjoying a resurgence in popularity, reunited with their lead singer Scott Stapp, and getting ready for their 2025 "Summer of '99" Tour.
While this summer's tour includes multiple stops around the country with supporting acts 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH, they just announced a two-day festival in Wisconsin that will boast way more acts for fans of that era's rock music.
Another act enjoying a resurgence in popularity and also on the road this year is Nickelback, who is joining forces with Creed as the other headliner of this massive two-day festival.
Here's what you need to know about the freshly-announced 'Summer of '99 And Beyond' Festival in Wisconsin.
When and where is the 'Summer of '99 And Beyond' Festival?
This two-day festival will be happening at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin, which is about 30 miles southwest of Milwaukee. This is the second year of the festival, which was held last year in California.
The huge open-air Wisconsin music venue will host the festival on Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Who is performing at the 'Summer of '99 And Beyond' Festival?
As you'd expect, Creed and Nickelback are each headlining one of the two nights, but there are numerous other acts that will also be performing throughout the two-day festival. Here's a look at the lineup.
Friday, July 18
Nickelback will be the headlining act for the opening night, joined by the following acts:
- Live
- Daughtry
- Tonic
- Our Lady Peace
- Lit
Saturday, July 19
Creed is Saturday's headliner, joined by the following acts:
- 3 Doors Down
- Sevendust
- Mammoth WVH
- Hinder
- Vertical Horizon
- Fuel
You can see where the "and beyond" part comes in, with some of those acts having enjoyed their heyday before or after the "Summer of 99", but all of them make for a pretty great lineup for fans of that era's rock music.
