A fake Auto Dealer has made off with thousands of dollars from some unsuspecting buyers in Minnesota and the Better Business Bureau is trying to get the word out to warn consumers as they are in the process of getting them shut down. Back in mid january some consumers brought complaints against the business which has since started the investigation.

The business called Superior Auto Sales claims to have inventory of seized and repossessed vehicles for sale and are based out of Fargo North Dakota. Apparently they are using the name of a legitimate business that used to be at that same address. According to the Better Business Bureau they start out with ads on Craigslist for a boat, car, camper etc. then customers respond to them via e-mail or text, once someone has found an item they would like to purchase they are referred to their website and must put down a 20% deposit of the asking price. As soon as the money is received they cut off all contact with the victims.

Just another lesson to learn that sometimes dealing with business on line can be risky, and hopefully these guys will get shut down soon before taking advantage of anyone else.
