Nick Cooper

I grew up in Central Minnesota, learning to enjoy all of what Minnesota has to offer - whether it be enjoying a good hot dish, heading into the great outdoors, or being let down by the Twins, Vikings, T-Wolves, and Wild (I can't help it, I'm a fan). I moved to Bemidji to attend Bemidji State University and get a degree in Mass Communications (I know, who goes to a 4-year school to get into radio, right?). Fast forward a few years and a couple jobs later, and here I am, doing what I love in the beautiful Duluth/Superior area!

Open House Party

Saturday Nights With John Garabedian

John began DJing high-school dances at the age of 14, and got his first paid radio gig at age 17 while still in high school (on Saturday and Sunday nights nothing changes, right?) at a Worcester MA radio station. He studied broadcasting (and partying) at the University of Miami, then worked for several years as a DJ and radio/TV Program Director before launching Open House Party in 1988.

John hosts Open House Party every Saturday night from one of his three party houses; suburban Boston, lost in the mountains of Vermont, a

Having lived in the Northland for many years now, I still get a kick out of watching tourists wander around Canal Park like a Zombie, as they gaze up Lake Avenue wondering to themselves "How do people get up that hill in the winter?" Having a good sense of humor about things has always been my motto, and has helped me get through some hard times and keep my sanity. I am really grateful to work with such clever and funny people, and hope that I can continue to laugh along with the great folks of the Twin Ports for many more years to come

Tony Hart

I grew up in the Twin Cities, graduated from Champlin Park High School and as long as I can remember I wanted to be on the radio. After graduating high school I immediately went to work in Grand Forks, ND at KZLT for a few years before moving back to Minneapolis to work with Dave Ryan at KDWB. After KDWB I did nights at WXPT in Minneapolis for just over 5 years before I decided it was time for a change, so I moved up north and the rest is history! I live in Superior with my wife Mindy, daughter Rose and dog Rawko

Mainly, I like mashing buttons and saying random things. Somehow, I was placed in front of a microphone and given a job to do just that. I love the water. I spent most of last summer on a lake fishing and swimming. When I wasn't on the lake, I was rolling around on a motorcycle. This, of course, makes me very eager for summertime to roll around here in Duluth. I am enjoying the single life and the many odd, weird, amazing stories/experiences it has provided me with
