Animal Allies ‘Mega-Match-A-Thon’ Adopts 44 Animals in 30 Hours
The First Ever ASPCA/Animal Allies Mega-Match-A-thon this past weekend helped 44 Animals to be adopted out to forever homes over a 30 hour period! And I have to say, being the animal lover that I am, I was very excited to be part of such a great event!
It was my first visit to the new building on Airport Road, and I must say I was very Impressed . You can tell that a lot of planning was involved to make the most of this space, and to provide a warm and nurturing temporary home for these animals. Everyone from the organization was so warm and friendly, and I saw droves of volunteers in constant contact with the animals.
If you are considering getting a dog or cat, please consider Animal Allies first. These animals are so well cared for, and have already been spay or neuter, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. Plus they know the personalities of these animals and can help you with making a good fit with your future pet.
Hat's off to everyone at Animal Allies for your tireless efforts in rescuing and caring for these animals, the job you do is commendable. And, I feel so lucky to have a gotten glimpse into the amazing world of all your many 4 legged friends. :)
