Animal Allies Pet Of The Week Is A Sweet Dog Named Elaine

The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is an adorable younger dog named Elaine. She is a white and fawn American Shelter Dog who is 1 year old. Elaine has had quite the journey with a number of other dogs who was transferred from an overcrowded shelter in Texas with the hopes of finding a loving home with someone in the Northland.

Elaine is very gentle and pretty mellow for a dog her age, but she does have her occasional bursts of energy. She loves her head scratches and will make sure that you know when she is ready for more. She has been spayed, vet checked, micro-chipped and updated on all her shots.

If you would like to visit with Elanie 1:1 please contact the shelter ahead of time and they will gladly help introduce her to you and if weather permits you can go outside in the fenced in enclosure or maybe go for a walk on the trails around the facility. Which AAHS services will continue? Our Adoption Center is closed to the public but we will continue to provide essential services to support animals in need, including:

Stray Services; from our contracted jurisdictions (Rice Lake, Proctor, Hermantown and Southern St. Louis County) and transfers from City of Duluth Animal Control.

Intake & Surrender Services; are available for emergency surrenders by appointment only. All appointments must be approved by our Intake Specialist or Adoption Manager.

Pets in Our Shelter; Care and medical treatment for animals in our shelters
