Arlington Avenue Road Repaving Project Almost Done!

Like many that live and work in Duluth, Arlington Avenue is an important route during my daily routine. The construction project to improve the roadway has been a bit of an inconvenience to drivers in recent weeks; but the sweet, sweet outcome of a smooth and freshly-paved road is within sight!

Earlier today, the smell of asphalt filled the air near the radio station, signaling a major step in the construction process of the roadway that passes by the station. As the picture below shows, crews have laid down a southbound lane of pavement! (Since then, the other lane has been done too.) Obviously finishing work like painting needs to be completed, but soon we will all be able to enjoy the freshest road in Duluth!
