With Texas experiencing its worst drought in over 100 years, most parts of the Lonestar State haven’t seen rain in months. It’s so dry, in fact, that one ordinarily shy baby armadillo came right up to this family’s walkway just to get a drink from their hose. With this adorable video racking up over 80,000 views since it was posted on Friday, we have to ask: Are baby armadillos the new kittens?
If there’s one knock against Kool-Aid, it’s that it’s not fattening enough. Sure those sugars are going to turn into fat at some point, but what if you need a quicker fix? Who has time to sit around all day waiting for their metabolism to convert that excess glycogen to fatty acids? Enter deep-fried Kool-Aid, the newest oil-injected creation from the reigning king of fair food, “Chicken” Charlie Boghosian that’s a major web obsession right now.
Weird Al has been making parodies since Lady Gaga was still a Baby Gaga, so it’s pretty impressive that he’s never looked better than he does in the video for “Perform This Way,” his take on “Born This Way.” Seriously, you have to be in pretty good shape to have your head transplanted onto a woman’s body at that age. It’s a very invasive procedure, carries a lot of risk, but he comes out of it looking flawless and ready to dance. The number of costume changes alone would kill a lesser man.
Apparently gorillas like to back that thang up just as much as humans do. When this male gorilla isn’t out lounging in his habitat at The Calgary Zoo, there’s nothing he likes more than do a couple of spins in the water room and shake what his mama gave him. Talk about the evolution of dance.
Earlier this week, a man dropped off a section of rusty pipe to firefighters at Redding, California’s Fire Station #4. Why? There was a kitten trapped inside of it. That’s right, a real life, just-larger-than-pipe-sized cat. So were these American heroes able to squeeze him out? Yes!
Watch the nail-biting endeavor in the three-part rescue series below.
This guy’s superhuman dexterity allows him to manipulate rings with the fluidity of our favorite screensavers. Look at those rings go. In and out, around and around. How does he do it? Is it magnets? Camera tricks? Magic? Maybe it’s just the music.
When friends Joe and Larry got stuck at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport overnight, they embraced their confinement like two kids in an empty candy store. Once the airport cleared out for evening, they were off to the wheelchair races. They also hit the escalators, the kitchen, the shoe shine chair and the airport bar, filming the whole adventure in HD for the internet to see. Check it out below:
Chasing a dangling string is so last year. This adorable kitten opts for pink plastic hamster ball over the usual cat toy fare and somehow manages to submerge his entire body in the thing. Good thing the hamster wasn’t in there before he got in — that would have been one wild ride. Check out the video below:
The 90s are often thought of as the golden age of cheesy sitcoms. Shows like ’Family Matters’, ‘Wings’ and ‘Mad About You’ had a certain panache that was just so right for the time: the enthusiastic laugh track, the exaggerated physical comedy and the raspy sax rock theme song all came together in a comforting, consistent package.
Now, thanks to the power of editing, we’ve been given a glimpse at what ‘The Office’ might have looked like had it come out during that prime time (pun intended) for sitcoms. Check out the video below:
