Here's where I tell you even more about me.  Just in case you're curious, nosy, or trying to kill as much time on this website instead of doing the real work you should be doing. Here it goes. I'm a true Minnesota girl.  I shovel my car out when I'm stuck in the winter, I can make hotdish, I'm a Minnesota (well at least Minnesota for the time being) Vikings SUPERfan, Twinkies (as in MLB not Hostess) fan, a UMD Bulldogs (not an alumni, just a fan) fan, and I burn like a mother in the sun without sunscreen.  My husband is my best friend.  He's funny, caring, tall, dark, and handsome,  and he's a keeper!  My three kids (ages 11, 9, and 4) keep me young and drive me insane.  And I wouldn't change them for the world. I was born in St. Paul, graduated from Barnum High School, (Go Bombers!) and joined the Army Reserves where I served as a 46R (Broadcast Journalist) for 8 years.  I started out working at Mix 108 as the receptionist in 2003.  After I was deployed Baghdad, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom doing TV and Radio for AFN, I came home and realized I loved the radio thing...so I interviewed for the Morning Show on Mix 108 and have been loving it ever since. When I'm not working, wifing, mothering, or sleeping, I love hanging out with my family and the three best friends a girl could have.  I love to go camping--and yes, I stay in a tent,) play cards, Scrabble, read, do the crossword puzzle, or scrapbook.  I'm a ball of fun, I know. Ok, I think that's it.   Anything else you want to know you can probably find out from listening to Mix 108 weekdays from 9-2. Send me your request for the All Request Lunch Break! laura@mix108.com

World Toe Wrestling Championship? It Exists! [VIDEO]

It may seem like the DJ's at Mix 108 have some sort of foot fetish with the recent stories about flip flops and ugly celebrity feet.  But we don't.  Promise.  Well, all of us with the exception of Tony Hart.

We've all heard of arm wrestling, right?  How would you like to take part in the latest craze, "Toe Wrestling?"

I'm still waiting for one of my three kids to amaze me with some sort of musical talent.  Unfortunately, they must have my musical genes.

Top 3 Ugliest Pairs of Celebrity Feet [PHOTOS]

This morning Jeanne and Cooper talked about how flip flop season is finally upon us.  Hopefully, if you're the sandal wearing kind, you've done your part to make sure those piggies are up to par.

I agree with the majority of the population when I say that most feet are ugly.  Even my feet are ugly, and I can admit it.  But what happens to celebrities who step out on the red carpet with open-toed heels on without doing due diligence to their lower digits?

Thankfully I didn't find too many photos of horrible feet.  But here are a few of the more questionable ones:

Woman Can’t Figure Out How to Turn Car Around [VIDEO]

Which sex can boast about being the better drivers?  Unfortunately for women, a few terrible female drivers seem to ruin it for the rest of us.  We are NOT ALL HORRIBLE DRIVERS!  Not all of us, being the key phrase here.  After I saw the video Tony Hart posted of the 17 year old girl who can't figure out how to back out of the garage, I thought I had seen the worst example of a woman driver.  That is, until I saw this one.

Her poor, poor passenger.

Duluth / Superior Free Activities For Kids This Summer

Parents! Do you really want to hear "I'm so bored" from your kids for the next three months? Summer is fast approaching and if you have kids who will be out of school chances are you're already thinking of ways to keep them busy and away from technology. Maybe not COMPLETELY away, but if you have kids like mine, they'd spend every minute in front of the TV/XBox/Computer if you'd let them.

I found a few cool things for kids to check out this summer that are all FREE!!

Gallery: My Favorite Etsy Item of the Day for Beliebers

I do not claim to be any type of "artist."  Truth be told, my stick figures need help.  But for the love of Pete, why do you think you can get $20.00 for this?

Kids React to the Cinnamon Challenge [VIDEO]

I love these kids.  I feel like I've been watching them grow up one Youtube video at a time.  Genius idea, really.  Get a bunch of kids to watch videos of random things on the internets.  Have them comment.  Throw in famous Youtuber "Glozell" doing the Cinnamon Challenge, and it's even better.
