Welcome to another addition of my best outdoor lunch spots in the Twin Ports. This week I ventured down to Canal Park by the Maritime Museum in the shadow of the famous lift bridge.

This is one of my favorite places to go in the city, I love the hustle and bustle of all the tourists, locals and seagulls, ok maybe not the birds, but it is some good people watching. Of course the views are spectacular and maybe you will luck out and see a ship  either leaving or coming into port. You can find the shipping schedules on line or even at the maritime museum. With ample places to sit including the giant rocks  on the shore this is a great place to sit and chill out.

Before I ventured off I stopped at the East Hillside location of Whole Foods Co-op to pick up my delicious lunch for my outdoor picnic.Even in the summer, during the weekday it is not super crazy busy in that area and is usually pretty easy to snag a parking space. Make sure to bring a check card or cash because you have to pay for parking, but it is pretty cheap. To see what I had for lunch check out the video below.
