The Wisconsin State Parks Camping Fees have been changed which could cost you more or less depending on the park and the time of year you visit.

Jim Dick who is a spokesman for the Wisconsin DNR said preliminary plans call for a $2 nightly camping increase at places like  Amnicon, Big Bay, Copper Falls, and Pattison state parks. But, campers at Pattison could actually pay $5 less depending on the season. A full list is expected to be released around mid February.

Some state park daily admission fees will also increase in places like Devil's Lake, Peninsula and Willow River. State lawmakers cut parks systems funding and ordered the DNR to rely on fees and revenue, causing the need to increase fees.

The new pricing system is estimated to take affect after February 15th. For more information Click Here
