Caramel Apple Recall Affects Residents in Minnesota, and Wisconsin
Two caramel apple companies are getting the word out about some pre-packaged caramel apples that have caused illness and even death with some consumers in the U.S.
The CDC has determined that these 2 companies are for sure involved with a listeria outbreak from eating these apples, they are Carnival and Kitchen Cravings. They are still trying to determine if these apples are still on shelves in stores and want to warn people that may have them in their homes.
The agency has said that over 83% of the people who got sick admit to have eaten prepackaged caramel apples. The deaths have occurred in Minnesota and people getting sick were reported in Wisconsin among other states.
