Chris Brown Covered His House in Graffiti, and It’s Scaring Little Kids [PHOTO]

Chris Brown has done a lot of horrifying things in his relatively short life, but his neighbors are pretty upset about something that — compared to, say, beating the snot out of Rihanna — is pretty innocuous.

Apparently the graffiti art Breezy did himself on his own property in the Hollywood Hills is making kids and parents on his block nervous.

(Let’s just hope they’ve never seen his ‘GMA’ interview, or else they’d really be scared.)

Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, griped to the LA Times, ”There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to.”

Uh … they look more like Meatwad-dinosaur hybrids to us, but whatever.

Brown’s somewhat predictable response? He retweeted the Associated Press’ article, then quipped, “Keep em inside then! It’s art. There are scarier creatures on ‘Harry Potter.’ Get a f—king life!”

Ugh. We hate agreeing with him, but he’s got a point.

Regardless, the law is the law. Brown was slapped with a citation for “unpermitted and excessive signage.” He’s got 30 days to take down the artwork before he can get fines that start at $376, which he probably has in loose change in his pocket as we speak.

Brown’s bulldog attorney Mark Geragos released a statement about the issue, barking, “I’m scared of neighborhood busybodies like this. They’ve called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them.”

Or shame on Geragos for not being familiar with Los Angeles law, which says it’s illegal to create murals on most private properties.

Still, for good dramatic measure, Geragos added, “They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment.”

Right. We’re sure this is the exact cause the Founders were so worried about.
