Marching bands, antique cars, military groups, floats and more will soon be lining up as the West Duluth tradition continues with this years Memorial Day Parade.

This Monday (Memorial Day May 29th), the West Duluth tradirion continues as the parade will begin around 12:30 pm. The starting point as always is on 59th Ave. W. and will run east on Grand to Central Ave, then south on Central Avenue to Ramsey Street, and east on Ramsey Street to Mike Colalillo Drive, where it will end. .

No parking will be allowed on either side of Grand Avenue along the parade route. There will also be “No parking” signs posted along the route. I've been going to this parade every year since I was a kid and I can’t wait to carry on the tradition with my girls and see what this years parade has in store.

59th Avenue West will be closed from Grand Avenue to Raleigh Street for the parade line-up area starting at 10:30 a.m. DTA buses will use Cody Street as a detour route.
