According to WDIO the Duluth City Council approved a cap of $450.000 per year on an amendment fee for Minnesota Power. Customers will see an increase on their bill, but thanks to the council a limit was set.

The Duluth City Council voted 8-1 in favor of the amendment, so now these increases will not just fall on homeowners alone. Being someone who owns a home in Duluth this comes as a big relief since it seems our property taxes go up every year as it is.
