On Friday morning Duluth police were called to an apartment on the 100 block of East 1st Street where the renter found a dead man inside.  Police arrived minutes later and found suspicious injuries on the 28 year old victim.

The St. Louis medical examiner's office has now officially ruled the suspicious death a homicide.

The Duluth police have arrested two men in connection with the death, the renter Nakota Benjamin, a 37 year old is being charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Wesley Jones, a 47 year old male is charged with Aid and Abet 2nd Degree Murder, both men knew the victim and are being held at the Saint Louis County Jail pending formal charges.

The cause of death was due to injuries sustained from a knife wound. The victim is a resident of Duluth. His name will be released pending full notification of family. The investigation continues and anyone with more information is urged to call 911.
