Hermantown K-9 Officer and K-9 Partner Win an Award

Their excellent work after a shooting earned them the award.

The United States Police Canine Association awarded K-9 Officer Jon Pernu and K-9 Jack got the Region 18 Case of the Quarter award.

On August 20th police responded to a drive-by shooting in the Lincoln Park area of Duluth where responding officers needed to find the gun used in the crime.

Officer Pernu and K-9 Jack were called to the area and did a 15 block search for the gun and eventually found it hidden in some bushes near a park.
