She may not look like the traditional Malibu Barbie, but pop tart Katy Perry reverted to her ‘California Gurls’ look for her toy transformation. Like her pal Nicki Minaj, Perry is a model for a one-of-a-kind Mattel doll on sale for charity.

The Perry doll features the ‘One That Got Away’ songstress donning a blue ‘do and a cupcake dress (and each of the cupcakes is handpainted!), evoking images from her ‘California Dreams’ tour. The doll stands on a small platform made to look like a waffle cone, and she’s surrounded by her the lollipops, ice cream and gummi bears that have become her signature. Perry’s doll also has Swarovski-crystal studded fishnet stockings. That’s one way to class them up!

Perry’s plastic doppelganger doesn’t bear quite the striking resemblance as Nicki Minaj’s actual Harajuku Barbie (seriously, even their faces are identical!), but the elves at Mattel did a great job nonetheless capturing Mrs. Brand’s sweet, fun essence.

The doll, like the mini-Minaj, will be auctioned off to benefit Project Angel Food, a charity that provides meals to families suffering from cancer, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. With bids currently at $1,750 — and an estimated value of $15,000 — we’d say that’s a pretty sweet deal.
