After President Abraham Lincoln is assassinated, his body is transported from Washinton D.C. to his hometown of Springfield, IL in a special train, a part of that train is spending this summer in Duluth.

The official Facebook page of the Lincoln Funeral Car posted an announcement that this piece of American history, in all its restored glory, will be "on display during an extended engagement this summer at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth."

They go on to say that, "tours of the car will begin Memorial Day Weekend and continue through Labor Day." More details are coming soon, but for history buffs, this is a must do this summer.
