Chicago Man Proposes to Girlfriend on Delta Air Lines Flight [VIDEO]
A Chicago man established a new kind of Mile High Club on Friday, when he proposed to his girlfriend on a Delta flight from O’Hare to LaGuardia.
Alexandra Williams and Arvin Shandiz have been dating since they met on a plane ride — also Delta Air Lines — from New York to Chicago in 2010. Shandiz knew the time was right and felt it was only fitting to ask Williams to be his wife while cruising at 30,000 feet on the same air line.
After the proposal, Delta surprised the happy couple with a free trip, making their future honeymoon begin just as their relationship did, with their seat belts securely fastened and their tray tables in the fully upright position.
