Mankato Salvage Shop Owner Gets a Shot on National Television [VIDEO]

Heather Fisher from Mankato Minnesota loves to salvage antiques or items that have been thrown away and make them beautiful again, and now she has a chance at T.V. Stardom.

Fisher owns a store in Mankato called Salvage Sisters and has been in the Salvage industry for a while, beating out 1,000 other contestants for a chance at her own show. Her initial television appearance will be a pilot show following her around Mankato as she dumpster dives and goes through old worn down buildings looking for treasure. If enough people watch the show, it may get picked up for a series.

The show premieres on April 10th at 4pm on Great American Country. I sure hope for her sake that the show does well, putting a spotlight on women proving that they can handle power tools like a boss!
