The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry announced Minnesota's minimum wage rates will be adjusted for inflation beginning January 1st 2018 to $9.65 and hour for Large Companies (annual gross revenue is over $500,000 year) and $7.87 and hour for small companies.

Governor Mark Dayton began working with legislators to raise the minimum wage in Minnesota where an estimated 250,000 hourly workers make less than $9.65 an hour. This adds up to an increase of 15 cents an hour.
