For cyclists this is exciting news and for those who live in the Twin Ports you could hop on the trail and be half way there! The Minnesota Department of Transportation is putting the finishing touches on U.S. Bicycle Route 41 which will use exisitng roads and trails all the way to Grand Portage. The total route is 325 miles and would take the average cyclist 21 hours to reach their destination. But before they put the final stamp on it, MNDOT is asking for the publics help to name the new route. You can vote online here! They hope to have the route completed by this Fall.
