New Music Out This Week: Michael Jackson, The Black Keys, Tori Amos [VIDEO]

I am so relieved that the new Michael Jackson album is amazing from some of the tracks I have heard, it is a slippery slope sometimes when the families of these singers issue songs that were recorded and not released before they passed. Plus some other interesting releases out too.

1.) Michael Jackson: “XSCAPE” (eight newly unearthed recordings)-Rumor has it that Jermain Jackson is upset that he was not involved in this project at all. Always riding Michaels coat tails even now, thankfully the people behind some of the songs are top notch, like Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. Check out the compilation below with Michael and Justin Timberlake, AMAZING!

2.) The Black Keys :  “Turn Blue” This band has been getting quite a bit of attention lately due to the drummer having at witter beef with none other than Justin Bieber of all people. But as far as music goes fans of the band will not be disappointed.

3.) Tori Amos : “Unrepentant Geraldines”-Leave it to Tori Amos to have such a weird title for her latest album, she is a true indie performer. Her 17′th album, Amos goes back to the 90′s by being back behind the piano, a highlight for die hard fans!

OTHER RELEASES OUT THIS WEEK:

-Various artists : “One Love, One Rhythm: The Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Album” (two discs; first single: “We Are One (Ole Ola),” Pitbull feat. Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte)

-Blondie :“Blondie 4(0)-Ever: Greatest Hits Deluxe Redux / Ghosts of Download” (three discs; new studio album, packaged with re-recordings of their past hits)
