Cats are haughty little creatures. Their superb sense of balance combined with virtually no fear of heights gives them a sense of superiority usually only seen among Wall Street bankers. But like their human counterparts, they are sometimes destined for failure.
The kitty in this video begins with what could easily pass for a Cirque du Soleil audition, easing his way onto two parallel clotheslines with grace and precision. By the end, though, he looks less like an acrobat and more like Wile E. Coyote.
These cats noticed the open fridge and were on the cusp of the nirvana that is people food when something went wrong. Instead of continuing on their raid, the felines dealt with their fail by retreating back to their boring feed bowls, defeated.
