Jay-Z and Coldplay will ring in the new year with a New Year's Eve concert on Dec. 31 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. This will be the second time the dynamic duo has celebrated the new year onstage together -- their first being in 2010 in Las Vegas.

Coldplay are wrapping up their 'Mylo Xyloto' album cycle with the Nov. 20 release of 'Live 2012,' a concert film and album that captures highlights from the band's year-long world tour.

This is some sad, sad news for Coldplay fans! The band, who has spent a majority of 2012 on the road, decided that they would take it easy next year and take the entire year off! If only we had a job that allowed us to take an entire year off.
