Yep, it's Monday. It's cold, snowy, and Christmas is still a few weeks away. If that isn't enough to bum you out, how about sitting all by your lonesome in a big office, abandoned by your coworkers.

Saturday (September 28) was the second annual Oktoberfest Hill Run and Celebration at Mont Du Lac Recreation Area. Among the event's activities was a barrel roll, in which I managed to convince B105's David Drew and MIX 108's Tony Hart to compete.

The Arrowhead Home and Builders show has gone to the birds, literally. Parakeet Landing is another fun family exhibit at the DECC this week, where over 200 parakeets are waiting for you to visit and feed them. I had the chance to get up close and personal with the birds to give you a taste of what to expect if you are thinking about visiting the exhibit.

One of the many features of this year's Arrowhead Home and Builder's Show at the DECC is a business that specializes in Lego building. Brickmania, based in Minneapolis, made the trip north to show off a couple of amazing Lego creations and offer you the opportunity to build your own.

As the craze continues to spread across the internet, everyone has seen at least one Harlem Shake video by now. MIX 108 decided to undertake making an official Duluth version, including the world's biggest freshwater lake and frigidly cold air to make it as authentic as possible.

Ahhh the kick off cruise on the Vista this past Saturday Night. Every year it is a total blast as people flock to try and get tickets. They know, it is the most fun you can have out on Lake Superior and the staff from Mix 108 are always down for a good time. Many funny sights and sounds happened, but here are my top 5 favorites!
