The Minnesota Vikings season might have taken a major hit before the regular season even gets here. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was taken by ambulance out of Winter Park after sustaining an apparent non-contact leg injury at practice.

Reports are that teammates were visibly shaken while Bridgewater was getting looked at.

UPDATE (8/30 4:00 p.m.): Coach Zimmer said that Bridgewater suffered a "significant knee injury but the extent is unknown at this time." Zimmer also said "It doesn't look good right now".

UPDATE (8/31 9:00 a.m.): Now it's official, Teddy Bridgewater is out for the 2016 season with a torn ACL and a dislocated knee.

The Vikings first regular season game is on September 11th against the Tennessee Titans.
