The Animal Allies Pet of the Week is an awesome young dog named Junior. He is a tan and white shelter dog who is only 10 months old. Junior came to Animal Allies from another shelter and is a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you he won't leave your side.  For many of these dogs being shuffled from place to place  can be very traumatic for them, fortunately the staff at Animal Allies are well aware of this and provide extra loving care to all the animals.

Junior gets very attached to people so ideally his person will not be gone for long periods of time. If you are someone who is never home Junior would probably not adjust very well, but I think this applies to most dogs in general. Junior has been neutered, vet checked, micro chipped and is updated on all his shots. If you would like to get to know him in person stop by Animal Allies for a visit at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth, call (218) 722-5341 or check out their website.
