Everyone has heard of arm chair quarterbacks and that applies to all sports especially on a professional level. Poor Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who was the butt of a few jokes with his missed shot.
I have always wondered what kind of mental stamina you would have to have to compete as a professional athlete. I was in a number of sports as a kid, and all through High School and sometimes the pressure can really get to you.
Take that to a whole new level by being paid millions of dollars to play a kids game, yes we are all human and things happen, unfortunately a lot of people are going to see it. Having just come off an injury, maybe he was a little rusty to miss this fairly easy shot.
