Watch Minnesota DNR Using a Dog to Detect Aquatic Hitchhikers

Boating season is nearly here and the DNR is using all available resources to detect aquatic invasive species, including dogs.

The DNR shared a video on Facebook of an AIS Inspector using a K9 unit to sniff out zebra mussels, Eurasian milfoil, and other aquatic hitchhikers.

Shelby, the dog, sniffs around the boat and trailer to see if any pests are hanging out.
