The Zeitgeist Center for Arts and Community in Downtown Duluth is offering $35,000 to any organization with the best idea to keep Duluth healthy.

I think it's very important to live a healthy lifestyle and teach it to kids and I love that a center like Zeitgeist is doing this. It's all apart of the Healthy Duluth Ideas Festival. Proposals are even starting to roll in.

One proposal includes providing bicycles to low income families. Another involves building a year-round greenhouse. While a third wants to invest in free exercise classes in neighborhoods with the most health disparities. A fourth proposal is a campaign to get low income kids outside onto the community's many trails.

All great ideas and the winner will be announced tomorrow. Let me know in the comments below which one is your favorite idea or if you have ideas of your own.
