All-New Star Wars Hyper-Reality Experience Coming to Mall of America

The Mall of America will be unveiling some new attractions in the coming months, but the one that will probably get the most hype is a new Star Wars experience.

The VOID describes itself as a "full sensory, immersive experience, with you, your friends and family walking around inside the action. It’s location-based entertainment – that means you visit one of our locations – and you walk into real-time hyper-reality that combines interactive sets, real-time effects and amazing technology."

The Secrets of the Empire will open on level 3 on the north side of the Mall of America this fall. There is also a Ghostbusters experience that appears to be part of The VOID's offerings.

The VOID currently has locations in Anaheim, CA and Orlando, FL near both Disney theme parks, Las Vegas and Glendale, CA.

The Secrets of the Empire will put you in the middle of a battle to save the rebellion. The VOID says that "teams must navigate through an enemy facility walking into danger at every turn. Disguised as stormtroopers, grab your blaster, solve puzzles, and fight giant lava monsters in an effort to fulfill your team's orders."
