You Can Travel Three Of America’s Longest Highways In Minnesota
As someone who loves a good road trip, I thoroughly appreciate a long stretch of open road along with some great music, tasty snacks, and good company.
I can remember as a kid growing up in Central Minnesota going on family road trips and keeping a map of the roads we traveled and places we visited as sort of a journal of our journeys over the years.

I-35 is one of the three longest highways in the country that runs through Minnesota. It starts at its intersection with London Road in Duluth. It travels through the Twin Cities and all the way down to Laredo, Texas, where you can cross into Mexico.
The other two are, of course, I-94 from Moorhead to just east of the Twin Cities and I-90 that runs through Southern Minnesota.

As it turns out, those three roadways that run through Minnesota are among the 10 longest in the country! Here's how they rank among the longest in the U.S.
