There are certain food items in the fast food world that regularly come and go, think McRib and the Shamrock Shake, but when this item disappeared, fans lost their collective minds.

After a brief appearance last summer, they were again removed from the menu. This time around, the restaurant says the return is forever. They are even guaranteeing it by promising to sue themselves if they are removed again.

Arby’s announced that their seasoned potato cakes are back on the menu! As part of the return, Arby’s is offering fans of the potato cakes access to a “pre-class action lawsuit.”

A Million-Dollar Promise for Minnesota Fans

The fast food chain, with around 60 locations in Minnesota, says if potato cakes are removed from the menu before December 31, 2026, all the signees will split $1 million of Arby’s food.

In a press release, Arby’s states, “No menu item return has ever been this ironclad. We aren’t going to let Arby’s get away with removing Potato Cakes from the menu again.”
