Best Outdoor Lunch Spots in the Twin Ports: Lester River

For more outdoor lunch spot ideas this week I did not have to go far since Lester Park is in my neighborhood. This beautiful park has so much to offer whether you want to take a dip in the river (Gundy) take a hike, play on the playground or sit under the shaded pavilion this area has it all.

Once again I swung through Whole Foods CO-OP Hillside and picked up my delicious lunch. With my insulated bag in tow I lucked out with another beautiful sunny day to take in all this park has to offer.

As long as I have lived in Duluth, it still seems so amazing that a quick car ride away from the hustle and bustle of downtown you are surrounded by woods, flowing streams and of course Lake Superior a stones throw away.

So next time you are on the east end of town consider taking a few minutes for yourself and enjoy some time out in nature at Lester River. Curious as to what I had to eat?
