How can Bill Nye's new Netflix series possibly save the world? With the help of a globally famous supermodel, of course!

Bill Nye Saves the Worldan unofficial extension of the scientist's massively popular '90s Bill Nye the Science Guy series on PBS, unveiled its official trailer earlier today (February 8) and immediately proved it will, indeed, blend the worlds of academia and pop culture. In the clip above, Karlie KlossCrazy Ex-Girlfriend's Rachel Bloom and Joel McHale appear to help Nye cover topics like sex, global warming, GMOs, technology and alternative medicine, and Kloss seems especially ready to get her lab coat routine down pat.

"I don't want to get too sciency," one featured audience member says in the trailer.

"No, get sciency, that's my jam," Kloss fires back.

Science: jam.

In August, Nye told The Hollywood Reporter that he's aiming for Bill Nye Saves the World to reach a totally new audience through Netflix.

"Since the start of the Science Guy show, I’ve been on a mission to change the world by getting people everywhere excited about the fundamental ideas in science,” he said. “Today, I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change. With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little."

Bill Nye Saves the World drops on Netflix on April 21.
