Black Water Lounge In Downtown Duluth Announces Reopening Date

The Black Water Lounge, located at 231 E. Superior Street in downtown Duluth, closed their doors after they hosted New Year celebrations at the end of 2018. This was due to the Superior Street reconstruction project and they expected at that that time to reopen in early or mid-2021.

Well, then the pandemic hit and it became unclear at that time if that reopening deadline would be able to remain.

Then, great news arrived December 2 when Black Water Lounge confirmed that it would be reopening in January 2022. That short, sweet message was shared on their Facebook page.

After making the announcement, they continued to tease things that guests could look forward to once they reopened. For example, on December 14 they confirmed that sushi would once again be a part of their menu.

Then on New Years Day they made their reopening date official with a post on their Facebook page:

RE-OPENING DATE ANNOUNCED.... Tuesday, January 11th!!
We have been biting our tongue waiting to share this exciting news and are beyond ecstatic to officially be opening our doors to the public starting on January 11th at 4pm!
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday-Saturday 4pm-12pm // Closed Sunday and Monday
We will have live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm.

The Black Water Lounge does have a lot offer in a setting that is different that many establishments in the Northland. I believe they say it best, "Black Water Lounge is Duluth’s premiere martini lounge and nightclub.
