Children's Book 'The Giver' Is Coming To The Big Screen, Trailer Released [VIDEO]

It's not often it happens. However, someone occasionally points out a new movie coming out I never heard of. This time it's even a book I have never read. (Which is rare)

'The Giver' is set in an apparent Utopian future in which one person holds the knowledge of previous generations, before everything became perfect. In this case Jeff Bridges is the giver of the information. If you have some doubts as to if the movie will be good, Meryl Streep is in it. And frankly, she rocks.

'The Giver' is set to hit theaters 15AUG2014.
