Interesting Minnesota Craigslist Listings Include A 19th Century Log Sauna & More

Who doesn't like the word free? The word free can definitely be enticing and sometimes, you can find some hidden gems. Check out some of the most interesting things currently found under the free section of Craigslist in Minnesota.

Whenever combing through Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, or garage sales, some items may surprise you. Others are pretty common to see; like kids' clothes, old furniture, tires, garden stuff, and more. Sometimes you'll find an item with just enough quirkiness and charm, that could turn out to be a hidden gem.

I first started in the Duluth Craigslist section to see what I could find. However, I soon found myself looking all over the Minnesota area Craigslist pages to see what I could find. Lots of tires, garden tools, and even some ducklings, however, a few caught my eye.

Check out some of the most interesting free items off Craigslist this week in Minnesota:

19th Century Log Sauna

Who wouldn't want a free sauna? It's even an older model from the 19th century. The only catch, is there is an add-on and you must take it all. They want you to tear it down and haul it away for material use. It is located in Ely, and if no one takes it, it goes to the dump when the owners tear it down. Check out the listing here.

CD Storage Tower

If you thought a 19th-century sauna was old, hopefully, you're staying seated for this one. A multi-colored CD storage tower. Now you'll have a place to store all your music like the good old days when you were jamming out with the Walkman while listening to "Ironic" by Alanis Morrissette. Relive the glory days but picking up this free tower in the Minneapolis area. If not claimed, it will be scrap added to the dumpster material.

Black Toilet Stool

It did not specify if it was used or not, but they did say it is a good working toilet with all the parts. Maybe this is the beauty you need to spice up the much-needed bathroom remodel. You can find it in the St. Cloud area here.

Commercial Deep Fryer

Growing up I've always wanted a deep fryer in the kitchen. Now there's one for free in the Grand Rapids area. It's used and even comes with a stainless table. You can check it out here.

200 Plastic Rulers

Are you ready for this one? In the Minneapolis area, you could get 200 free plastic rulers. Wait for it, they're completely customizable. They are all 12" and you can put a custom paper strip in them or have them with no paper. Check it out here.

Dirt

This one didn't have an image on Craigslist, but it's pretty clean and cut. Someone is giving away free dirt in the St. Anthony area. They are removing dirt from a front yard, so there will be some grass in it. They claim it is good dirt, and it will be about 5-8 yards. They are even willing to deliver the free dirt if you are close, how nice. Check out the listing here.

Console TV

We started with some very old items, I figured we would end with a very old item. I haven't seen one of these bad boys since we cleaned out my grandpa's attic. The person that listed it, stated that they intended to upscale it into a bar case or fish tank, but never did. They even say it still works! Located in the Duluth area, they do say it is quite heavy so you'll need to move it yourself, or bring some help. No word on a remote, but you can check it out here.
