On Thursday August 2nd Dairy Queens throughout the state of Minnesota will be participating in Miracle Treat Day to raise funds for Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

On Miracle Treat Day $1 or more from every Blizzard sold at participating locations will be donated to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds for over 170 Children's Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.

Donations collected for Miracle Treat Day will help Gillette expand and make improvements to it's virtual care program which brings specialized care to children who have complex conditions, rare disabilities and traumatic injuries. Last year's Miracle treat Day raised $300,000 for Gillette.

Since 1984 when this program was first started Dairy Queen has helped raise more than $130 million dollars for the CMN Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon Campaign and other local initiatives.

To help celebrate Miracle Treat Day you can help spread the word on social media by using #MiracleTreatDay.
